Video: Carnival in Rio de Janeiro | Feb 2016

Back in February 2016, Joe and I made the tough decision to get our butts to Rio to celebrate Carnival 2016. I knew it was going to be a big event, fun and packed with people; but I didn’t realize how big, fun and packed it would be.  It may be the most fun I’ve had in South America- if not my whole life.

The music was energetic, happy and sweet; The beaches and city were voluptuously tropical; And all the people had huge smiles on the glittered faces and barely costumed bodies. It was a sight to see and an experience to have. I recommend to anyone- get down to Rio for carnival as soon as you have that first week in February free.

In honor of our time there, I am sharing the fourth edit to a video that’s been months in the making. I finally chopped this one up to as good as it’s going to get. Enjoy and hopefully you get a taste of our extraordinary time at the festivities of Carnival in Rio 2016.
